Long before Lo Manthang was easily accessible, fancy riding gears and adventure motorcycles were highly commercialized, FLO RIDERZ attempted this high altitude bike tour with limited information and high motivation. It amazes us seeing how far development has reached, journey which took a week can now be done in a day or two. Navigating high altitude steep climb and technical turns with carbureted motorcycles was highly challenging and required good riding skills as well as great motorcycle knowledge. Day 4: Trek to Tengboche (3,860m) - 5-6 hours
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche (4,410m) - 5-6 hours
Day 6: Acclimatization day at Dingboche (hike to Nangkartshang Peak)
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche (4,940m) - 5-6 hours
Day 8: Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m), overnight in Gorak Shep (5,164m) - 7-8 hours
Day 9: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m) for sunrise, trek to Pheriche (4,240m) - 7-8 hours
Day 10: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 6-7 hours
Day 11: Trek to Lukla (2,860m) - 6-7 hours
Day 12: Flight back to Kathmandu

Ama Dablam, one of the most beautiful mountains in the Himalayas, is often compared to the Matterhorn of the Alps. The name means “Mother’s Necklace,” with its ridges like a mother’s arms and the glacier like a traditional Sherpa pendant. This stunning peak is a major highlight on the trek to Everest Base Camp, becoming even more breathtaking as you reach Pangboche.
