Our Manaslu Base Camp is fully set and ready to welcome the team — comfortable sleeping tents, dining and kitchen facilities, and a well-equipped luxury camp for the weeks ahead.
Meanwhile, our expedition team is approaching Manaslu via the Larkya Pass route, gaining valuable acclimatization naturally along the journey. 💪🏔️
In just 3–4 days, the team will arrive at Manaslu Base Camp, already well acclimatized and ready for the next phase of the expedition.

Our Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) Expedition permit has officially been received! 🏔️
Under the leadership of Christian, the team successfully completed their permit formalities, final gear checks, and expedition preparations in Kathmandu today.
This evening, we had a great expedition briefing followed by a team dinner—a perfect opportunity to review the plan, strengthen teamwork, and get ready for the adventure ahead. 🤝
Everything is now ready. The journey toward Manaslu Base Camp begins soon!

Our Thoughts Are With Mr. Pure 🙏
It is with deep concern that we share that our Expedition Chef, Mr. Pure, is currently missing following the recent flooding while he was heading for a Tibet trek.
Mr. Pure has been an important part of our expedition and TMC family, supporting our teams in the mountains with dedication and a warm heart.
At this difficult time, our thoughts are with him and his family. We remain hopeful and pray for his safe return.
We are also deeply grateful to everyone involved in the ongoing search and rescue efforts.

One Step from History
This video was taken just before Nimsdai Purja final summit push on Broad Peak—and just moments before the tragic accident.
This was more than another expedition—it was an attempt to make history. Had he successfully reached the summit, he would have become the first person in history to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks twice without supplementary oxygen.
Tragically, during the summit push, a devastating accident claimed the lives of Nimsdai and fellow climbers before the summit could be reached.
Today, we stand in solidarity with Nimsdai and all the climbers who lost their lives on Broad Peak. Their courage, passion, determination, and unwavering dedication to the mountains will continue to inspire generations of mountaineers.
The mountains give us dreams, but they also demand the deepest respect. May we always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice while pursuing the passion they loved.
Our heartfelt condolences go to their families, friends, teammates, and the entire mountaineering community.
Rest in peace. Your legacy will live on in the mountains forever.
