Man vs Society
external conflict.
The protagonist stands against the law, tradition, belief, or social norms of their community or government.
What makes it different from Man vs Man: you can’t defeat society in a single fight. There’s no final duel. The hero either changes the system, escapes it, or is destroyed by it.
Those are the only three endings. Every story in this category picks one.

He never asked to be remembered. We’re the ones asking now.
Some questions don’t need answers.🗻
The mountains keep him now. We keep the rest.🙏

We will miss you so much, Nimsdai. 🙏🏔️

The mountains gave us a legend, and now they have taken him home.

Nirmal “Nimsdai” Purja the man who climbed all 14 eight-thousanders in six months, who stood on the summit of K2 in winter when the world said it could not be done, who taught an entire generation of Nepali climbers that nothing is impossible.

Our hearts are also with Nima Sherpa, Pur Bahadur Gurung, and every climber lost on Broad Peak, along with their families.

From all of us in Nepal, thank you for carrying our flag to the roof of the world.

Forever gone, but never forgotten
