Namaste Adventure is a Himalayan expedition company headquartered in Kathmandu, Nepal. Recommended by Lonely Planet Guides and featured on The Discovery Channel's program "1000 Places to See Before You Die", the company was founded by Rabi Adhikari, a 18-year veteran of organizing and leading custom-designed expeditions in Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet. Namaste Adventure is supported by an experienced g

roup of tour leaders representing more than 1000 years of trekking, mountaineering, biking and rafting experience, including several guides how have reached the summit of Everest and other major Nepali peaks. Each of Namaste Adventure's English-speaking guides is government-licensed and experienced in mountain first aid training, while local support staff are ensure a competitive wage and provided adequate equipment, clothing and insurance for their trips. Named after the Nepali and Hindi greeting which recognizes the equality of all and pays honor to the sacredness and interconnectivity of everything, Namaste Adventure is committed to responsible tourism ensuring that the company, its business partners and its clients act in a way that is socially, environmentally and culturally sound on all treks. The company is a member of the non-profit Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (www.keepnepal.org), with a portion of the proceeds donated to local Nepal charities.
