Despite the home of the tallest mountains in the world, Nepal, also offers amazing jungle safaris, invaluable flora and fauna, and diverse cultures. The Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first national park and a prime safari destination. It’s home to iconic wildlife including the Asian one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tiger, deer, elephants, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. The park’s mix of forests, grasslands and rivers offers excellent wildlife viewing year-round, though Oct–April is generally best for visibility and cooler weather.

Maghi is one of the most important festivals of the Magar and Tharu community in Nepal. However, it is also celebrated in different communities all over the Nepal.
