With deepest sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved founder, mentor and father, Mr. Jagat Man Lama, on 15th September 2025.

Mr. Lama was more than a leader — he was the heart and soul of More Than Mountain Treks. His passion for the mountains, his strong belief and determination in community empowerment, and his tireless efforts to uplift his village made him a true inspiration to all who knew him.

He dreamed not only of taking people beyond the mountains but also of building bridges of opportunity for others. His kindness, humility, and vision will forever remain the foundation of our company and the spirit that guides our journey ahead.

Though he may have left us, his legacy of love, leadership, and service will continue to live on in every path we walk and every mountain we climb.

Rest in peace, Mr. Jagat Man Lama.
Your light will forever shine in our hearts.
