Dear Valued Partners, Travelers!

Greetings from Nepal! We have a great news to share with you about Free-Visa for Tibet and China. The Chinese government has recently announced a new visa-free policy for citizens of over 16 countries (list of counties listed below). This initiative will be very useful who are keen to visit Tibet and China. Many of travelers, trekkers who would like to travel to Tibet from Mainland China or Nepal had to wait 4-days to Tibet travel permits herein Kathmandu. But now, with this new rule, travelers no longer need to wait about 4-days in Kathmandu for visa processing. This rule will save and time of travelers who would like to visit Tibet from Nepal. However, travelers still will need travel permit and road permits which will be processed and obtain through us. According to the Chinese immigration regulation, travelers who enter Tibet from Nepal are required to apply for both of China Group Tourist Visa and Tibet Visa (also named Tibet travel permit). For both travel documents, individual travelers can only get them through a local Tibetan travel agency.

According to the latest policy, the China Group Visa will only be issued to a tourist group that consists of at least 4 travelers. You have to travel together both in and out of the Tibet Autonomous Region via a pre-arranged tour with a travel agency. For solo travelers, we can help you find group members and ensure you get your China Group Visa. With local offices in Kathmandu, we have successfully organized Nepal to Tibet tours for many tourists. If you hold a passport from one of the countries eligible for 15/30-day visa-free entry to China, you do NOT NEED to apply for the Group Visa and find group members. Simply apply for the Tibet Travel Permit with your valid passport. For more please visit at
