Goecha La is a high mountain pass in Sikkim, India in the Himalaya range. The southeast face of Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world's third highest mountain, is viewable from the pass, which is also a base camp for those aspiring to scale the mountain.
The biggest reason to do the Goechala trek is the grand views of big mountains that you see. You don’t just see one summit — the Kanchenjunga. But 14 other big summits. That’s a lot for any trek — especially as close to the eyes as on the Goechala trek. It is no wonder trekkers consider Goechala to be the closest to the big mountain treks of Nepal.

Singshore Bridge (Uttarey / Pelling)
With a span of 198 mtrs and 220 mtrs in depth, Singshore Bridge near Pelling/Uttarey in West Sikkim is considered the second highest suspension bridge in Asia.
It used to be the highest suspension bridge in Asia once upon a time. China has now taken the top spot of highest suspension bridge. The bridge is a perfect place to have breath taking views of the mountains and the natural beauty. Recommended for short trip from Pelling, a distance of about 5 km.
The Singshore Bridge was built 16 years ago by connecting two hills. It is situated 25 km away from Pemayangtse Monastery. The government of Sikkim is likely to set Bungee jumping activities on the bridge soon. Uttarey, a small hamlet in western Sikkim and just close to Singshore Bridge falls near the Nepal border and is commonly known as Chiya Bhanjyang.

Aritar is a region in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is known for its natural and landscaped beauty. It is located on the edge of the Himalayas, and can be reached in from Gangtok via either Pakyong or Rangpo.

Isolated from the rest of the state, on the far eastern border of Sikkim and bounded by Mt. Kanchendzonga, the region is characterized by lush forest, mountains and rivers. The Aritar Lake (Ghati-Tso) is a nearby attraction, as are traditional villages and monasteries such as Lingsay. Visitors may also stay in a British-built bungalow of 1895 located 0.5 kilometres below the lake.
