Day 1: Drive to Dharapani (1,960 m)
Transport: Bus from Kathmandu or Besisahar
Trail condition (monsoon): Roads muddy, sometimes landslides between Besisahar–Chame section.
Highlights: Entering Annapurna Conservation Area, first views of waterfalls and lush valleys.
Stay: Dharapani

Day 2: Dharapani → Chame (2,670 m)
Trek time: 6–7 hrs
Trail: Through pine & fir forest, crossing suspension bridges. Slippery in rain.
Highlights: Views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II; hot springs near Chame.
Stay: Chame

Day 3: Chame → Upper Pisang (3,300 m)
Trek time: 5–6 hrs
Trail: Narrow cliff-side path, landslide-prone in monsoon.
Highlights: Paungda Danda rock face, apple orchards.
Stay: Upper Pisang (better for acclimatization than Lower Pisang).

Day 4: Upper Pisang → Manang (3,540 m) via Ghyaru & Ngawal

🌧️ Special Notes for Monsoon Season
Trail Conditions: Slippery, muddy, landslide-prone (especially Dharapani–Chame & Pisang–Manang).

Leeches & Insects: Common in lower sections (Dharapani–Chame). Carry salt/tobacco water or repellent.

Weather: Mornings are usually clear, rain comes in afternoon. Start trekking early.

Views: Clouds may obscure mountains, but lush greenery, waterfalls, and fewer trekkers make it peaceful.
