Rara Lake

Dear all partners,

This is to inform you that Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has issued NOTAM to close the Kathmandu airport from 10:00 PM to 08:00 AM everyday from April 1, 2019 till June 30, 2019 for runway maintenance. This decision will effect daily internal flights of Nepal especially flights to Lukla because it operates very early morning every day.
Therefore as an alternate, few airlines have scheduled their flight to Lukla from Ramechap during that period. It means from April 1, 2019 till June 30, 2019, all flights to Lukla will be operated from Ramechap Airport instead of Kathmandu Airport. So we hereby would like to inform that all the flights to Lukla will be operated from Ramechap from April 1, 2019. All the passengers travelling/flying to Lukla will be transported to Ramechap first and then will fly to Lukla. It will take about 4 hours drive to reach Ramechap from Kathmandu. We, Trekking Experts will transfer you to Ramchap first either very early morning from Kathmandu or one night before depending on the flight time. If your flight to Lukla is very early morning, we shall transfer you to Ramechap one night before and you’ll need to stay one night at Ramechap. We, Trekking Experts will manage meals and accommodation at Ramechap at least at tourist lodge with twin sharing basis. Similarly, on the fly back to Kathmandu, you’ll fly to Ramechap first and then drive to Kathmandu on the same day. We regret for inconveniences caused this notice.
