Attention solo women travelers: Here at Maya Journeys, we have been hard at work trying to create a unique journey into the Himalayas for women. Crafted for the beginner hiker or the beginner yogi, our 11-day journey into the Langtang valley combines spectacular views, daily yoga and meditation, and hikes that push you just enough.

The trip is led by Mamata Pokharel, a registered travel guide, (also writer and counselor) together with Usha, an experienced yoga teacher and photographer who is unfortunately not on Facebook.

We have poured our heart into this journey, and want to make it an experience where everyone is able to enjoy themselves, push themselves a little, and learn something new about themselves in the company of supportive sisters. (Photo below is from winter, it will likely be much warmer during our travel dates).

Limited openings, for women only. Visit our website, or send us a message to book.

March 1-11, 2019, Langtang Valley, Nepal

Fact: Did you know that Mt. Annapurna I was the first peak above 8,000 meters to be scaled by us humans? Climbed by a French expedition group led by Maurice Herzog in 1950, the Annapurnas have since inspired countless adventurers, wanderers and free spirits. Trekking the Annapurna Circuit through the 5,416 metre high Thorung La is still a bucket list item for many. Until you arrive in Nepal for you very own adventure in the Annapurnas, we present to you a tantalizing view of the Annapurna range seen from the ancient trading outpost of Manang on the Annapurna Circuit trek, and a bonus photo of Annapurna I, taken on the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
