🏔️ Praying for Hope on Broad Peak 🙏
The mountains inspire us with their beauty, but they also remind us of the immense risks faced by those who venture into the world's highest places.
The news from Broad Peak (8,047 m) in Pakistan's Karakoram is heartbreaking. An avalanche has left 10 climbers reported missing, including legendary Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja (Nimsdai) and several highly experienced Sherpas, alongside climbers from Pakistan, the United States, Oman, and China.
Search and rescue operations are continuing under extremely difficult conditions. At this moment, there has been no official confirmation of their fate, and hope remains alive.
As members of the global mountain community, let us stand together in solidarity with the missing climbers, their families, friends, and the brave rescue teams risking their own lives in the search.
