Feeling the need to get away? Far away, perhaps? You don't get much farther than Bhutan. Nestled in the Himalayas, the Buddhist nation has forged a different path, most notably with its policy of Gross National Happiness. Places are often described with superlatives, but in this case the cliché is true: Bhutan is a magical place.
I invite you to experience Bhutan with me, as part of my Writing and Well-Being Workshop. It's a great opportunity to explore this unique nation while developing (or starting) a writing practice. No experience needed! The focus is on journaling and expressive writing, but for those who are interested, we dive deeper into the craft. We start each day with a morning meditation, led by my good friend and meditation teacher, James Hopkins. We then combine readings and writing exercises with daily excursions to the many sites of Bhutan, including the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery.
My next workshop takes place April 29 to May 9 2026. We still have a few slots open.
Hope you can join us!
