High season on Everest Base Camp Trek:
March, April and the first half of May are with October, November the best months to hike to the Everest Base Camp. The weather is sunny and clear most of the time and it is not so cold. These days more and more tents can be seen at the Base Camp on 5300m – the expeditions prepare for climbing Everest. Another highlight is the national flower of Nepal, rhododendron, that is blooming in March and April in red, pink, and white colors.

Hochsaison im Everest Basislager:
März, April und die erste Hälfte vom Mai sind neben Oktober und November die besten Monate um zum Everest Base Camp zu trekken. Das Wetter ist meist sonnig und klar. Wer dem 5300m hohen Everest Basecamp in Nepal in diesen Tagen einen Besuch abstattet, trifft dort auf immer mehr gelbe Zelte, die links neben dem Khumbu Gletscher aufgebaut sind – die Expeditionen bereiten sich auf die Besteigung des Everest vor. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Nationalblume Nepals, der Rhododendron, der im März und April in voller Blüte steht.
