The Journey

It all begins in Kathmandu with permit processing and gear prep. Then a scenic drive takes you to Koto, where the real adventure starts. You'll trek through the remote Nar-Phu Valley, passing traditional villages like Meta, Kyang, and Phu Gaon—one of Nepal's most beautiful villages—before reaching Base Camp at 4,900m .

From Base Camp, the climb follows the Northwest Ridge with three high camps: Camp I (5,450m), Camp II (6,000m), and Camp III (6,350m). The route crosses glaciers, steep snow slopes (up to 50°), and uses fixed ropes on technical sections. The summit offers spectacular views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu .

October offers the most stable weather window—post-monsoon clarity, cleaner air, and proven success records for summit bids .
