Today, the world witnessed history once again as legendary climber reached the summit of for the 32nd time โ€” breaking his own world record and proving once again what dedication, strength, and mountain spirit truly mean.

Born in the small Sherpa village of Thame in Solukhumbu, Kami Rita dai has spent more than three decades on the worldโ€™s highest peaks. What began as carrying loads and supporting expeditions in the early 1990s became one of the greatest mountaineering journeys ever seen.

Through storms, thin air, long nights in the death zone, and countless dangerous climbs, he continues to return to the mountain with the same calm determination that inspires climbers all over the world.

This season, he summited Everest once again โ€” not for fame, not for headlines, but because the mountains are part of who he is.

Mt. Fishtail isnโ€™t just a beautiful peak โ€” itโ€™s one of Nepalโ€™s most sacred and protected mountains. Many people donโ€™t know it has never been officially summited, and its story is full of details most travelers miss.

๐Ÿ. Mt. Fishtail has never been climbed to the summit.

๐Ÿ. The only team allowed to attempt it was a British expedition in 1957.

๐Ÿ‘. They stopped just below the summit out of respect for local beliefs.

๐Ÿ’. Since then, Nepal has officially banned climbing the mountain.

๐Ÿ“. It is considered sacred and associated with Lord Shiva.

๐Ÿ”. The peak is shaped like a double-summit fishtail, giving it the name โ€œMachhapuchhre.โ€

๐Ÿ•. It stands 6,993 meters tall โ€” just shy of 7,000m.

๐Ÿ–. The mountain sits in the Annapurna Conservation Area.

๐Ÿ—. Itโ€™s one of the most photographed mountains in Nepal, especially from Pokhara.
