Meet Our Founder – Tula Bahadur Magar
Every successful journey begins with a single step. Mine began on the rugged trails of the Nepal Himalayas, carrying heavy loads as a young porter.
Long before I founded Lead Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd., I learned that the mountains reward humility, determination, and hard work. As a porter, I experienced the Himalayas from the ground up—walking the same trails, facing the same challenges, and learning invaluable lessons from every expedition.
Driven by a passion for the mountains, I dedicated myself to continuous learning and professional growth. I progressed from porter to Assistant Trekking Guide, then to Licensed Trekking Guide, and eventually became involved in high-altitude expeditions and peak climbing. Every season brought new knowledge, greater responsibility, and the privilege of guiding people from around the world through the breathtaking landscapes of Nepal.
Over the years, I have guided trekkers across many of Nepal’s most iconic regions, including Everest, Manaslu, Annapurna, Langtang, Dolpo, Kanchenjunga, Mustang, and many other remote Himalayan destinations. I have also participated in numerous mountaineering expeditions, working alongside experienced climbers and international teams in some of the world’s highest mountains.
These experiences taught me that a successful Himalayan journey is about far more than reaching a destination. It is about building trust, ensuring safety, respecting local cultures, protecting nature, and creating unforgettable memories.
With this vision, I founded Lead Nepal Treks Pvt. Ltd.—a company built on honesty, professionalism, and genuine Himalayan hospitality.
Today, our mission is simple:
To provide safe, personalized, and life-changing adventures while delivering the highest level of service to every traveler who chooses Nepal.

My personal journey—from carrying loads as a porter to leading my own trekking company—has taught me that there are no shortcuts to success. Every challenge, every climb, and every step has shaped the person I am today.
