We are deeply concerned by reports of the loss of contact with Nirmal Purja and the climbing team in Pakistan. We pray for the safe return of every team member and hope they are found as soon as possible.
I respectfully urge the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation of Nepal to coordinate closely with the Government of Pakistan and all relevant authorities to support a swift and effective search-and-rescue operation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the climbers, their families, friends, and everyone anxiously awaiting good news. May they return safely.
