This remote off-the-beaten path trek takes you through high passes and remote villages reaching the a maximum elevation of 4,730 meters (Oktang) the south base camp to 5,153 meters (Pangpema) the north base base camp of Kanchenjunga. These high altitude viewpoints allow you ti witness the stunning views of Yalung Glacier with close-up views of Mount Kanchenjunga, Kabru and Jannu. 🏔️

The beautiful Kyanjin Gompa is the last permanent settlement on the ‘Langtang Valley Trek’ situated at an elevation of 3,870 meters above sea level. Kyanjin Gompa is famous for its ancient Buddhist monastery is estimated to be up to 300 to 700 years old.

This village is also well known for acclimatization hub for trekkers and mountaineers. Trekkers have options to hike up to. Stunning viewpoints like Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) and Tserko Ri (5,000m) for breathtaking panoramic views of Langtang Lirung (7,227m), Langshisha Ri, and the Langtang Lirung Glacier.
