🇳🇵🙏 Nepal Hot Air Balloon vs Other Countries

Nepal’s hot air balloon rides are different mainly because of the view you literally cannot get anywhere else

What makes Nepal Hot Air Balloon is unique :
1. The Himalayas as your backdrop.
You’re floating with the Himalayan range, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre “Fishtail”, and on super clear days, even a glimpse of Mount Everest from Pokhara

2. Takeoff location
Main spot is Pokhara, right by Phewa Lake. You lift off at sunrise with the mountains turning gold, reflection on the lake below, and the city still sleepy. It’s calm, not crowded

3. Altitude & air
Pokhara sits at ∼800m. You float up to 3,000m. The air is crisp, and because of the valley, you get a 360° amphitheater of mountains. In other countries you’re usually over flat land

4. Season & vibe
Best time: Sept–Nov and Mar–May. Skies are clearest after monsoon. Less commercial than other countries. Fewer balloons in the air = feels more private, more sacred.
