We have an interesting tour coming up on 15th and 16th April: After a briefing at 'Shop with a Story' at Babermahal Revisited we head to R&D Innovative Solutions (farmers support services) and then meet the women founders of Friend Handicraft. We learn about environmental issues and local community support at the Kevin Rohan Memorial Foundation and then drive towards Dhulikel for an overnight stay and beautiful mountain views in a rural village.

On the second day we meet with Rabindra Puri, the hero of architecture conservation and then the visually impaired therapists of Seeing Hands, a massage center. Please send us a message if you are interested in joining and we will provide you with more information.

27 students from American School of Singapore did a day of Hidden Journeys on 28th of May. Divided in a team of 9 each, 3 social ventures where chosen and they spent a whole day not just learning about the story and projects but getting involved in the activities. First team constructed a smoke free Mathrubhumi Chulo with Madhukar ji. Second team made madala art work with support from Prachanda ji. Third team worked on Soap-nuts jewelry and farm with Usha, Krishna and Leela ji. Thank you everyone involved in this experience. We had lots of fun. Thank you again.

2015 was a remarkable year us where we got to experience the spirit of our guests who traveled social ventures to help Nepal overcome the earthquake adversity. We hosted our first 7 days of Hidden Journeys on November and had the year's closing journey with David and Muller visiting various social enterprises. We are now looking forward to the beginning of our social tours for 2016 starting from Feb 28th with 15 Singapore students for our second 7 days journey. Stay connected for updates.

Our 7 day Hidden Journeys tour came to a memorable end yesterday which was a great learning, sharing and growing experience for everyone including the guests, our social entrepreneurs and the team. Today we are reflecting on the entire idea, planning and journey of the social enterprise tours. A hidden journey with Luna revels possibilities and challenges of Nepali entrepreneurs.

Naturally dyed shawls, felt and felt products and pencils from recycled paper, a wide range of products that should have an interesting market. But earthquake, fuel shortage and transportation problems due to bad roads also make a business in Nepal an interesting challenge.

We visited the various businesses and were taken by the enthusiasm and joy the ladies put in there dreams. However difficult it gets, the dahl baat is always good. Thank you Shanti Dolma of Kakani Himalayan Natural Dyes for a lovely lunch. Thank you Shanti and Nirjala Shrestha for the colorful joy we found in your workshop. And thank you Luna Shrestha Thakur for taking us.
