Today was one of those days that remind .frontiers.trekking why we do what we do.
Started the morning hiking up to Tiger’s Nest Monastery — definitely a bit of a climb 😅 but standing there, seeing it carved into the cliff, you realize some places really are as special as people say.
Later, I spent time in a traditional 3-generation home here in Bhutan. No rush, no distractions — just genuine hospitality, strong family bonds, and a way of life that hasn’t changed much over time.
We wrapped up the day at a monastery, watching young monks going about their routine — laughing one moment, deeply focused the next. It’s simple, but it stays with you.
This is exactly what we aim to create at Last Frontiers, not just trips, but real, meaningful experiences that connect people more deeply to places and cultures.
Bhutan doesn’t just show you something new… it makes you feel something different.
