From Kathmandu airport to 5,535m on Kongma La Pass, nothing went to plan โ€” and it was perfect.

His bag got delayed. Tandi handled it. When He felt difficult on the trail. Tashi made sure he ate right and rested well. And on day 8, instead of turning back at EBC, they kept going higher.

Today, our solo guest is on their way to Everest Base Camp (5,364 m / 17,598 ft), accompanied by our expert guide, Tashi. After reaching base camp, they will cross the challenging Cho La Pass (5,420 m / 17,782 ft), enter the Gokyo Valley (approx. 4,750 m / 15,584 ft), and cross Renjo La Pass (5,360 m / 17,585 ft), before returning to Lukla (2,860 m / 9,383 ft).
