NEPAL IS CALLING

In an appeal to friends of Nepal, Honourable Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Khadak Raj Paudel 'Ganess' has called upon travellers to continue visiting Nepal and to stand with the country during this time.

While the recent calamity has affected some areas and disrupted lives, most tourism destinations in Nepal remain safe, welcoming and accessible. The country is gradually returning to normal, and tourism activities continue across much of Nepal.

If you have been planning to visit Nepal, this is the time to come—not to cancel.
Your visit supports local communities, tourism workers, businesses and countless families whose livelihoods depend on tourism.

Come for the mountains. Come for the culture. Come for the people.
Come and explore the hidden side of Nepal.

Nepal has been deeply affected by the recent natural calamity. Lives, homes, and businesses have come to standstill, and livelihoods have been impacted. Our thoughts are with everyone affected and with countless people working tirelessly to support communities and help Nepal recover.

While some areas have been affected, much of Nepal continues to live, work, travel, and welcome visitors and move forward.

And at this difficult moment, we have a simple message for the world:

NEPAL IS NOT CLOSED.

To our friends, visitors, and the global tourism community, your visit means more than a journey. It is a gesture of solidarity. It supports people, sustains livelihoods, and gives support to communities as they recover and move forward.

A dedicated Quick Response Team is operating at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism & Civil Aviation (MoCTCA). A Tourist Information Desk has also been established at the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in coordination with the Department of Tourism (DoT), Tourist Police, and the private sector to provide timely information, assistance, and support.

This is a time to stand with Nepal.
This is a time to visit Nepal.
