Mt. Kailash & Sacred Lake Mansarovar Trip 2014

Overland Trip

Day 01: Kathmandu to Kodari (2515m) – 4 to 5 hrs . After breakfast about 10 AM group departure to Kaodari (Nepal – China Border) by private tourist coach. Overnight stay at guesthouse.

Day 02: Kodari to Nylam (3750m) – 5 hours including immigration.

Day 03: Nylam Full day free at Nylam for acclimatization and Nylam city excursion.

Day 04: Nylam to Dongba / Paryang (4500m.) – 6 to 7 hours.

Day 05 Mansarovar to Darchen (4560m): Am free for holy dip and Pooja (ritual activities). After Lunch dirve to Darchen. Proceed to Serlung Compa by jeep (if permitted) to have divine view of Astapada, Nandi Parbat, Kailas Ganga, Kuber Prbat, Astamatrikagam and Dakshinumurti Shivalaya. Overnight stay at Darchen , Guest House.

Darchen to Driaphuk (4890m): This is firest day of the Kailash parikarama (Kora). Start after breakfast as earlier as possible. This day we have to walk about 7 hours at all. Yak will carry our all – essential equipments. Overnight stay at Driaphuk, Guest house.

Day 06: Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk (4750m.): This day is very sensitive and has to Pass Dolma-La(5,670m) above sea leavel. The weather is unpredictable in Dolma-la and any time can change asn start to snow storm. So we try to start our journey as earlier as ible. In route can Darshan Gaurikunda. But it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay at Zuthulphuk, Campsite.

Day 07: Zuthulphuk to Paryang / Dongba: This is the day to finish Parikarma (Kora) of Kailash at Zongjerpu. And drive to Paryang. Overnight stay at Guesthouse.

Day 08: Paryang / Donga to Nylam / Zangu – 7 hrs.

Day 09: Nylam to Kathmandu: After clearing to border formalities pick up from border by tourist coach and continue to Kathmandu & Check in to your hotel. At evening, feedback assembly and certificate distribution.

Cost NPR. 95000.00 per person on full board with includes all above accommodation and transportation as per mentioned.

DAY 01: Kathmandu to Lumbini
Today you’ll be transferred to Lumbinio by A/C bus which will take approx. 7 hours scenic drive under normal road condition. Upon reaching Lumbini, You can take rest and take a walk in the city in evening. Dinner and overnight at Lumbini Guest House.

DAY 02: Sight seeing at Lumbini
