Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar International Airport or Railway Station. Meet
your native Tibetan guide and driver. Private transfer to your hotel.
Strictly rest today for altitude acclimatization. Avoid hot showers.

DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING IN LHASA (3,650m)
Morning visit to the Potala Palace (historic winter palace of the Dalai
Lamas). Afternoon visit to the Jokhang Temple (spiritual heart of Tibet).
Evening walk along the Barkhor Street pilgrim circuit.

DAY 03: DREPUNG & SERA MONASTERIES (3,650m)
Morning tour of Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastic city in the
world. Afternoon visit to Sera Monastery to witness the famous live

DAY 04: LHASA TO SHIGATSE VIA YAMDROK LAKE & GYANTSE (3,900m)

Pass the Karola Glacier to Gyantse. Visit Palcho Monastery and Kumbum Stupa.
Continue through agricultural valleys to Shigatse.

DAY 05: SIGATSE TO TINGRI VIA TASHILHUNPO (4,300m)

Morning tour of Tashilhunpo Monastery, the historic seat of the Panchen
Lama. Drive along the Friendship Highway, crossing the Gyatsola Pass
(5,248m), and descend into the wind-swept high basin of Tingri.

DAY 06: TINGRI TO EVEREST BASE CAMP (5,150m)
(Drive: ~120 km / 4 hrs)
Drive through the Mt. Everest National Reserve via Gawula Pass (5,198m)
viewing five peaks over 8,000m. Arrive at Rongbuk Monastery (5,000m).
Evening sunset view of the North Face of Mount Everest (8,848.86m).

DAY 07: EVEREST BASE CAMP TO SAGA (4,600m)

turquoise Peiku Tso Lake with views of Mt. Shishapangma (8,012m).
Cross the upper Brahmaputra River to reach the trading outpost of Saga.

DAY 08: SAGA TO LAKE MANASAROVAR (4,590m)
(Drive: ~450 km / 8-9 hrs)
Traverse the wild plains of the Ngari Prefecture. Watch the distinct
pyramid profile of Mount Kailash rise on the western horizon. Arrive at
the holy freshwater shores of Lake Manasarovar.

DAY 09: LAKE MANASAROVAR TO DARCHEN (4,600m)

Spend a quiet morning resting by the sacred lake. Afternoon short drive

foot trek, porter/yak allocation, and high-altitude safety briefing.

DAY 10: KAILASH KORA DAY 1: DARCHEN TO DIRAPUK MONASTERY (4,980m)
(Trek: 13 km / 5-6 hrs)
Short transfer to Yamdwar to begin the 52 km sacred Parikrama. Walk on a
gradual incline through the Lachu valley. Arrive at Dirapuk, directly
facing the monumental, icy North Face of Mount Kailash.

DAY 11: KAILASH KORA DAY 2: DIRAPUK TO ZUTHULPUK VIA DOLMA LA (4,800m)
(Trek: 22 km / 8-10 hrs)
The most challenging phase. Steep morning climb to the summit of the
Dolma La Pass (5,636m), heavily draped in prayer flags. Descend past
the emerald Gauri Kund lake and follow the eastern river valley to Zuthulpuk.
* Meals: Bed and Breakfast | Overnight: Zuthulpuk Guesthouse (Basic)

DAY 12: KAILASH KORA DAY 3: ZUTHULPUK TO DARCHEN – DRIVE TO SAGA (4,600m)
(Trek: 14 km / 3 hrs | Drive: ~460 km / 7-8 hrs)
Complete the final flat stretch of the Kora trail along the river canyon
to Chongdo. Vehicle pickup and return to Darchen to collect main luggage.
Drive across the plateau highway back to Saga.

DAY 13: SAGA TO SHIGATSE (3,900m)
(Drive: ~450 km / 7-8 hrs)
Retrace the route eastward across the southern Tibetan plateau. Watch
the stark terrain soften as you re-enter the wider agricultural valleys
of central Tibet. Arrive in Shigatse.

DAY 14: SHIGATSE TO LHASA (3,650m)
