Ms. a true trailblazer, made history once again this season by summiting Everest without supplemental oxygen—a feat accomplished alongside the 8K team. She is the youngest woman in history to conquer all 14 of the world’s 8000-meter peaks, holding two Guinness World Records for her achievements. Her strength, determination, and undeniable spirit continue to inspire climbers around the globe.
Alongside stands Ms. .chhen the dynamic General Manager of 8K Expeditions and my younger sister. One of the few female executives in Nepal’s high-altitude expedition industry to have summited Everest, she has forged her path through sheer resilience, strategic brilliance, and an unshakable belief in empowering others. Her ability to lead with strength and empathy in one of the world’s most unforgiving environments embodies the rise of a new generation of Nepali women -bold, capable, and unapologetically ambitious.
