काठमाडौं, २० वैशाख, २०७३ । भारत भ्रमणबाट फर्किने वित्तिकै पूर्व राजा ज्ञानेन्द्र शाहाले त्रिशुली नदिमा र्‍याफ्टीङमा विताए । सार्वजनिक रुपमा कमै देखिने पूर्व राजा शाहाले शनिबार सर्वसाधरणसँग तस्बिर समेत लिन भ्याए ।
‘उहाँले म जनताको मान्छे हुँ भन्दै फोटो खिच्नुभयो,’ राजपरिवारलाई र्‍याफ्टीङको व्यवस्थापन गरेको ग्रेट नेपाल ट्रेक्सका प्रमुख तथा टानका प्रवक्ता सुर्य बहादुर घिमिरेले दियोपोस्टसँग भने, ‘युवा र युवतिहरुको भिडले गर्दा निकै असहज भएको थियो ।’
घिमिरेका अनुसार राजपरिवारले अनलाईन मार्फत र्‍याफ्टीङको बुकिङ गरेका थिए । ‘अनलाईनबाट बुकिङ आयो हामीले एउटा हाईस ठिक पार्‍यौं, पछि थाहा भयो उहाँहरु त राजपरिवार हुनुहुँदो रहेछ,’ घिमिरेले भने, ‘राजपरिवारका सदस्य हाईस चढेर त्रिसुलीसम्म जानुभयो, यो निकै खुसी लाग्दो विषय हो ।’
पूर्व राजा शाहा र रानी कोमल भने शनिबार मात्रै परिवारका सदस्यलाई भेट्न पुगेका थिए । राजपरिवारका सदस्यहरुले तीन दिनसम्म त्रिशूली नदीमा र्‍याफ्टीङमा रमाएका थिए । पूर्व युवराज पारस बाहेक सबै सदस्य रमाईलो गर्न पुगेका थिए ।
शुक्रबार शाहको बुहारी हिमानी शाहसहित हिमानीको दुई छोरी पूर्णीका, कृतिका र छोरा हृदयन्द्र शाह त्रिशूली नदी पुगेका थिए । उनीहरुले चरौंदीदेखि हुँदै कुरिनघाटदेखि मुग्लिङसम्म र्‍याफ्टीङ गरे ।
‘राजपरिवारको र्‍याफ्टीङले पर्यटन क्षेत्रलाई थप उत्साहा दिएको छ,’ घिमिरेले भने, ‘हामी पर्यटन व्यावसायीलाई पनि यसले थप बल दिएको छ ।’
