The hardest part of sunrise? Getting there.

Leaving Gorakshep before sunrise, heading toward Kala Patthar one step at a time.

It's cold. It's dark. You're tired.

But in FY 2025/26, 25 trekkers (12 Nepalis and 13 foreign nationals) lost their lives to altitude sickness in the Annapurna region.

The mountains don't care about your schedule or social media trends. Rushing your ascent instead of acclimatizing can have fatal consequences.
