OFFICIAL UPDATE: MANASLU TREKKING TRAIL REOPENED

The District Administration Office (DAO), Gorkha has officially issued a notice regarding the reopening of the Manaslu Trekking Trail and Larkya Pass Trail.

Following the recent flooding in the Budhi Gandaki River and damage to the trekking trail and bridges in the Namrung area of Chumnubri Rural Municipality, necessary repair and maintenance works have been carried out. The damaged structures have now been restored and made operational for trekking, with necessary safety precautions in place.

According to the official notice, trekkers can now proceed along the Manaslu Circuit and Larkya Pass route, while remaining alert and following local safety guidance.

Manaslu is officially ready to welcome you again!
Come experience the magnificent landscapes, mountains, culture, and warm hospitality of the Manaslu Conservation Area.
