Severe storm. A storm like this in the Bay of Bengal is massively dangerous. In 10 hours, this can kill more people than were killed in the Syria war. This storm could kill hundreds of thousands of people. It could even kill a million. Nobody knows.

If you are in this area and get hit, there will be no backup. YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN.

If you are trekking up in the Himalaya such as in Nepal, Bhutan, PAY ATTENTION even if you are not now on the projected storm path.

A cyclone from the Bay of Bengal can dump millions of tons of snow with practically no local warning. As the warm, wet cyclone rises in the mountains, it gets cold and then rain falls out suddenly as deep snow. This can kill hundreds of trekkers in hours.
