Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Paro → Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport. Meet your guide and drive to Thimphu. Visit Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten and explore Thimphu city.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 2 – Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, Changangkha Lhakhang, traditional handicraft areas and local markets. Enjoy Bhutanese culture and Himalayan scenery.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 3 – Thimphu → Punakha
Drive across spectacular Dochula Pass (3,140m) and see the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens. Continue to Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang and magnificent Punakha Dzong.?
Overnight: Punakha
Day 4 – Punakha → Paro
Morning visit/hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, followed by a scenic drive back to Paro. Explore Paro town and traditional Bhutanese architecture. ?
Overnight: Paro
Day 5 – Tiger’s Nest Hike
Full-day excursion to the legendary Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), dramatically located on the cliff above Paro Valley. The hike typically takes around 5–6 hours round trip depending on pace and stops.
Afternoon: Visit Rinpung Dzong / Ta Dzong and relax in Paro.
Overnight: Paro
Day 6 – Paro → Departure
Breakfast and transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
