Sarah has stood with Nepal through multiple crises and was instrumental in getting recent travel warnings lifted on major OTA platforms. Now she brings that experience to Kathmandu to help chart the road from crisis to recovery. 🇳🇵

The PATA Foundation has launched the Nepal Tourism Recovery Fund to directly support tourism-dependent communities affected by recent localised flooding across specific river corridors in Nepal.

This Fund focuses directly on restoring local livelihoods. Contributions will go toward helping guides, porters, drivers, and local families operating small lodges, teahouses, and homestays replace lost equipment, rebuild facilities, and recover their income ahead of the peak autumn travel season.

We encourage our global industry network to support these recovery efforts through direct contributions and by sharing accurate travel advisories that distinguish localised impacts from the rest of the country.
