Yak Kharka is a common stopover for trekkers on popular routes like Annapurna Circuit.
High-altitude pastureland in the Himalayas is used for grazing yaks and provides an ideal place for trekkers to acclimatize. The area offers stunning views of snow-capped peaks, alpine meadows, and spare vegetation, creating a unique trekking experience. However due to the high elevation and thin air, trekkers should be a cautions of altitude sickness.
