Trip Update – Acclimatization Day at Dingboche Valley 🏔️

Today is a rest and acclimatization day for our team in the beautiful Dingboche Valley. To help their bodies adjust to the high altitude, the team is hiking to Nagarjun Hill with the goal of reaching the summit at approximately 5,300 meters — almost the same height as Everest Base Camp.

After reaching the top, the team will return down to Dingboche for lunch and some well-deserved relaxation. In the afternoon, they will explore the sacred Dingboche Valley and enjoy some quality time at the famous Coldin Cafe, known for its amazing coffee and beautiful mountain atmosphere.

Tomorrow, the adventure continues towards Chhukung, and the following day the team will trek to Lobuche by crossing the scenic Khumbu La Pass. From there, they will continue to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar before proudly participating in the Everest Marathon on 29th May.

After completing this incredible journey, the team will return back down to Lukla.

18-year-old Australian climber Bianca Adler has made history by successfully summiting Mount Everest, becoming the youngest Australian ever to reach the world’s highest peak.

Bianca, from Melbourne, stood atop the 8,849-meter summit at approximately 2:20 AM Nepal time on Wednesday morning. This was her second attempt at Everest. Last year, she was forced to turn back just 400 meters below the summit due to severe weather conditions.

Coming from a family of experienced mountaineers, both of Bianca’s parents — Paul Adler and Fiona Adler — have also previously climbed Everest. During her summit push, Bianca chose to make the final ascent at night to avoid heavy crowds and unstable weather.

Bianca had already set impressive records at the age of 16 by successfully climbing Manaslu and Ama Dablam.

Despite losing both of his legs, Mr. Rustom has proven to the world that with strong determination, courage, and willpower, nothing is impossible. His successful ascent of Mount Everest is truly an inspiring example for everyone, especially for people living with disabilities.

We hope his incredible achievement will motivate and encourage many other differently-abled individuals to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.
