The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal, offering stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The trek usually takes around 7-12 days, depending on your pace and starting point. Below is a standard 11-day itinerary for the Annapurna Base Camp trek.
Day 1: Arrival in Pokhara
β’ Activities: Arrive in Pokhara and prepare for the trek.
β’ Altitude: 827 meters (2,713 feet)
Day 2: Pokhara to Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri
β’ Drive: Pokhara to Nayapul (1.5 hours)
β’ Trek: Nayapul (1,070m/3,510ft) to Tikhedhunga (1,540m/5,050ft) or Ulleri (2,070m/6,791ft)
β’ Trek Duration: 4-6 hours
Day 3: Tikhedhunga/Ulleri to Ghorepani
β’ Trek: Tikhedhunga/Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,850m/9,350ft)
β’ Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 4: Ghorepani to P**n Hill, then Trek to Tadapani
β’ Early Morning Hike: Ghorepani to P**n Hill (3,210m/10,531ft) for sunrise

β’ Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 5: Tadapani to Chhomrong

Day 7: Dovan/Himalaya Hotel to Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp
β’ Trek: Dovan/Himalaya Hotel to Machapuchare Base Camp (3,700m/12,139ft), then continue to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,550ft)
β’ Trek Duration: 7-8 hours.
Day 8: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo
β’ Trek: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2,310m/7,580ft)
β’ Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
Day 9: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda
β’ Trek: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780m/5,840ft)
β’ Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
β’ Activities: Enjoy the hot springs at Jhinu Danda
Day 10: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul, Drive back to Pokhara
β’ Trek: Jhinu Danda to Nayapul (5 hours)
β’ Drive: Nayapul to Pokhara (1.5 hours)
Day 11: Departure from Pokhara
β’ Activities: Rest day in Pokhara or departure to your next destination.
