BREAKING | The Khumbu Icefall Route is Now Open!

The gateway to Everest is cleared for the 2026 climbing season!

The dedicated IPCC Icefall Doctors, supported by the Expedition Operators Association Nepal and Sherpas from across Nepal's expedition teams, have successfully found a passage through the challenging Khumbu Icefall — navigating past a major serac that had previously halted progress.

Expedition teams will now move to set up Camp I and Camp II, with route-fixing continuing toward Everest and Lhotse.
The 2026 Everest season is officially underway.

Snaps from Team Everest Base Camp Trek Day 3rd(acclimatizationday hike), and 4th(Namche to Tengboche trek)... They successfully reached Dingboche a while ago.

Tomorrow Plan: They will do their 2nd acclimatization day hike from Dingboche to Nangkartshang Peak(5,083m.) prior heading towards Lobuche.

Travel Update: Team Annapurna Base Camp Trek had a wonderful view this morning from Poon-Hill!

They had Trek last 2 days in a rain but that was worth as they had brilliant view today morning.
