Nepal has recently experienced a devastating natural disaster, and our thoughts are with everyone affected and with the families, communities and rescue teams working through this difficult time.

At the same time, we want to share a clear message with travellers:

Nepal is not closed.

The recent disaster has severely affected certain areas, particularly parts of northern Nepal and the Rasuwa–Bhote Koshi–Trishuli corridor. Some roads, bridges and local routes remain under recovery and should only be accessed after proper local confirmation.

However, much of Nepal continues to operate and welcome travellers, including many of the country's major tourism destinations.

For anyone planning a trip to Nepal, our advice is simple:

✔️ Check the latest local conditions before travelling
✔️ Choose routes that are confirmed operational
✔️ Travel with a registered local trekking or travel agency
✔️ Follow official safety advice
✔️ Allow flexibility for road and weather conditions
