Very disgraceful news coming out today.
Narender Yadav/singh, a 'mountaineer' from India is all set to receive Tenzing Norgay Award the highest honor in adventure sports by the hands of President of India on 29th August.
Through a lot of reliable sources, we got to know that he FAKED HIS EVEREST SUMMIT IN 2016.
His pictures are clearly photoshopped! (attaching picture with proof below)
His team leader did a press conference yesterday and announced Narender never summited Mount Everest.
I am writing this to bring into attention to the Indian mountaineering foundation and sports ministry of India headed by Mr. Kiren Rijiju sir.
The needful needs to be done.
Such people are Disgrace to Indian mountaineering community! These people have spoilt our reputation to a huge extent on an international level.
Is it so easy to lie your way to a presidential award?
It surprises me that how come the authorities who decides are not aware of such facts. Are they so ignorant? Who is the committee who decides who is worthy of the award? Don't they use their due diligence? Don't they verify?
Or is it all about who has the right political connects?
We don't climb to get awards. What we experience up there is much greater than any award.
But we can't let someone get away with such a lie when best of the mountaineers in India have been constantly overlooked year after year for this award.
Mountaineers like Arjun Vajpai, Satyarup Siddhanta, Priyanka Mangesh Mohite and few others who have applied for this award year after year who truly deserve this award have been constantly ignored. Why? We need answers.
But That's a topic for another day.
Let's all share in full swing and tag the authorities and let's make sure he doesn't receive this prestigious award on 29th August.
It's time to unite and set an example for these fraudsters 🤟💪
LET'S MAKE IT HAPPEN!
