Kag Tihar - la fete des corbeaux
Le premier jour de la fete de Deepawali ou Tihar commence aujourd'hui en venerant les corbeaux. Cette fete est connue comme Yama panchak aussi.

La fête de Tihar, également connue sous le nom de Deepawali au Népal, est une célébration joyeuse qui dure cinq jours. Chaque jour est dédié à un animal ou une divinité spécifique, et l’un des moments forts est la vénération des corbeaux. Le premier jour, les gens leur offrent de la nourriture, comme du pain et des grains, en signe de respect et de gratitude. Cela symbolise l’importance des corbeaux dans la culture népalaise, où ils sont souvent considérés comme des messagers entre les vivants et les morts.

La vénération des corbeaux à Tihar est également liée à des croyances folkloriques. On pense que ces oiseaux portent les âmes des défunts et qu’en les honorant, on assure le repos paisible de ses ancêtres. De plus, les corbeaux sont perçus comme des protecteurs de la maison, attirant la prospérité et éloignant les esprits malveillants. Cette tradition souligne la relation profonde entre les Népalais et la nature, en mettant en lumière le respect pour tous les êtres vivants.

Big congratulations Nima Rinji Sherpa Becomes the Youngest to Summit 14 Peaks.
Felicitation Nima Rinji Sherpa

Nima Rinji, at the remarkable age of 18 years and 5 months, has made history by becoming the youngest person to summit all 14 of the world’s highest peaks over 8000m.

Accompanied by his climbing partners Pasang Nurbu Sherpa, whom also completed the 14x8000ers. Nima reached the summit of Mount Shishapangma (8,027m) early this morning at 6:05am (China local time).

Nima’s remarkable achievement began in September 2022 when he climbed his first 8,000m peak, Mount Manaslu (8,163m). Over the subsequent two years and ten days, he consistently scaled one towering summit after another.

His impressive list of summits of the 8000ers;

3. Mt. Lhotse (8516m) - 24th May, 2023
