Another strong pillar of First Environmental Trekking Pvt. Ganesh Prasad Simkhada whose philosophy is based on conserving natural and cultural diversity. His in depth knowledge of trekking, climbing and other adventure programs and customer handling enhance the level of the service of the company. As he was born in north part of Dhading district of Nepal he keeps great passion for the Himalayas. He holds academic degrees such Bachelor in Law and Bachelor in Education from Tribhuvan University. It was 1990 when he entered into tourism as an entrepreneur and then he went on gaining popularity through his good work in tourism. Afterwards he thought of starting his own company to show the majestic Nepal to the world. So he found our company with his friends to start the revolution in the tourism industry focusing more on the quality service. He entered in tourism in 1992 as entrepreneur and since very beginning contributed tremendously for development of village tourism. It is his unshakable passion for the rural areas that he says village tourism offers a unique opportunity for comfortable cultural immersion as the traditional culture of the different ethnic groups is a highlight of all of our village visits. You travel to places where the way of life has not changed and where everything is still built by hand, made by hand and created by hand. 🏔️ EBC Trek — Day 7 | Kala Patthar 5,545m 🌅

We woke up before the world did.

4am. Pitch dark. Freezing cold. And every single step worth it.

As we climbed Kala Patthar in the dark, the Himalayas slowly came alive. First a glow. Then gold. Then the most breathtaking sunrise you've ever seen — Everest catching the first light of day, mountains rising above a perfect sea of clouds stretching endlessly in every direction. The whole valley below us was swallowed in white. We were standing above the clouds. ☁️✨

No photo can do it justice. But we tried anyway. 😄

Kala Patthar at 5,545m is the highest point of our trek — and without doubt the most spectacular view on earth. Everest. Nuptse. Lhotse. Pumori. Changtse. All at once. All around you.

This is the moment we'll carry with us forever. ❤️

🏔️ EBC Trek — Day 6 | Lobuche → Gorakshep → Everest Base Camp 5,364m 🙌

We made it. We actually made it.

The day started with a push from Lobuche to Gorakshep — the last stop before the dream. Pumori standing guard overhead like a sentinel, the air thin, the excitement thick.

And then — the Khumbu Glacier, the expedition tents, the prayer flags… and that rock. That famous rock. EVEREST BASE CAMP 5,364m. 🪨

Six days of walking, climbing, breathing hard, laughing harder — all leading to this one moment. Standing at the foot of the world's highest mountain, arms wide open, nothing but sky and ice and emotion all around. ❤️

And yes — someone showed up in a saree at 5,364m. Because why not? 😄👏

This is what dreams look like when you refuse to give up on them. 💪

🏔️ EBC Trek — Day 5 | Dingboche to Lobuche 🙏

The mountains don't let you forget where you are anymore.

Today's trail left the last of the green world behind. Every step was rock, moraine, and thin air as we climbed toward Lobuche at 4,940m. The Thukla Pass memorial stopped us in our tracks — a solemn ridge of stone cairns honoring the brave souls lost on Everest. A powerful, humbling moment. 🪨

Ama Dablam played peek-a-boo through dramatic clouds ☁️, the glacier carved its silent path through the valley below, and the world felt very, very big — and very, very quiet.

No trees. No flowers. Just rock, sky, and the mountain ahead. And yet — absolutely breathtaking. ❤️

Lobuche tonight. Everest Base Camp is close enough to feel now. 💪

🏔️ EBC Trek — Day 4 | Tengboche to Dingboche 🙏

Higher, wilder, more remote — every day on this trail takes you deeper into another world.

Left the monastery bells of Tengboche behind and pushed up into the high alpine zone. The landscape shifted dramatically — lush forests giving way to rugged valleys, glacial rivers carving through bare rock, and the air getting noticeably thinner with every step. 🌬️

Lhotse and Everest filling the horizon like walls of ice and stone. This is the real Himalaya now — raw, vast, and humbling.

Dingboche at 4,410m — we made it! Rest day tomorrow and then the real push begins. ⛽

Base Camp — we're coming! 💪❤️

After a well-earned rest day in Namche, we laced up and hit the trail again — and what a day to get moving!

The trail gifted us rhododendrons in full bloom 🌸, the most dramatic close-up of Ama Dablam you've ever seen, and the magnificent Tengboche Monastery welcoming us at the end of it all. Standing at that golden gate with prayer wheels and snow peaks all around — pure magic. 🛕

Yaks on the trail, laughs with the crew, and views that no camera can truly capture.

Legs are happy. Lungs are adjusting. Spirits are sky high! ❤️

Onward to Dingboche tomorrow! 💪

Day 2 on the trail to Everest Base Camp. 🏔️

We crossed into Sagarmatha National Park today - where the air thins, the rivers roar, and every step feels like a conversation with something ancient and vast.

The Dudh Koshi carved its milky path below us as we climbed through forests of pine and rhododendron in full bloom - bursts of crimson against a sky so blue it almost hurts to look at. And then, suddenly, the mountains revealed themselves. Thamserku. Kongde. And in the distance, the unmistakable silhouette of the Everest massif - Lhotse, Everest, Ama Dablam standing like sentinels at the edge of the world.

And at the end of it all - Namche Bazaar. Perched impossibly on a hillside at 3,440m, this little town feels like the last outpost of the ordinary before everything becomes extraordinary.

We are tired. We are breathless - literally and figuratively. And we are so, so grateful.

The mountain doesn't care about your ambitions. It only asks: are you present? Are you humble? Are you here?

We are. 🙏
