Today, we remember Nirmal “Nims Dai” Purja—a remarkable son of Nepal, an extraordinary mountaineer, and an inspiration to the world.

Nims Dai redefined what was thought possible in high-altitude mountaineering. His courage, leadership, and unwavering determination brought immense pride to Nepal and inspired millions across the globe.

We also pay our deepest respects to Pur Bahadur Gurung (Yukta), Nima Sherpa, Kili Pemba Sherpa (Kilu), Gyalu Sherpa, Nawang Thindu Sherpa, and all those who tragically lost their lives during the Broad Peak expedition.

Their courage, sacrifice, and passion for the mountains will never be forgotten.
