No Permit is required for Nepalse and Foreigners would be required to get a Restricted Area Permit of KCAP and should be accompanied by The Himalayan Guides

Day 1: Kathmandu - Taplejung/Phungling
Day 2: Phungling - Inladauda [ By local Bolero : Fare about NPR 1300 ]
Day 3: Iladauda - Olangchung gola [ 5-6 Hours Trek, Overnight at Tea House]
Day 4: Early Morning Hike to Sinjema and Return to Olangchung Gola [ Would be a long day ]

Day 4: Might be hard as there is no tea house anywhere up there. Trekkers can use Shepherd's Shelter which is one hour below the lake to prepare lunch and stay in if they are spending overnight.

For overnight stay you should be equipped with tent sleeping bags and power and food supplies

If you are planning to go there please prepare yourself with the needed items just in case if you have to spend the night up there. We have established contact with the Rural Municipality there, In case of emergencies you can reach Phaktalung RMC for rescue/support/ oxygen and medical help assistance.

Singjema, This lake is very beautiful and located in OlangchungGola. The most mountainous part of Phaktanglung Rural Municipality-07 of Taplejung District Nepal. This lake at an altitude of 4,700 meters above sea level. Sukepani can be reached by a 5-hour taxi journey from the headquarters of phungling. After that, a four-hour walk will reach OlangchunGola, where you will have to stay that day. The lake can be reached by the evening if you proceed early next morning observing the pure water and green scenery of Tamor River. When you reach Sinjema Lake, the blue color water and pure water spread over a length of about one kilometer, the quiet and beautiful environment gives you a sense of satisfaction and happiness.

Earthquake Update!!

An earthquake that rocked western Nepal on Friday night has resulted in the death of hundreds of people.
According to sources, 92 people were reported dead in Jajarkot following the 6.4 magnitude earthquake that rocked western Nepal at 11.47 pm on Friday. A further 55 people have been reported injured with the security agencies still looking for people under the rubble.

According to DIG Kuber Kadayat, 36 people have died in the earthquake in West Rukum with 85 more injured.
Details from other places in the area are yet to emerge.

Trekkers planning to trek around that area are adivised to postpone their trip for few days.
