Current Update on Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja
As of the latest official information, Nirmal "Nimsdai" Purja remains missing following the devastating avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan's Karakoram Range. Search, rescue, and recovery operations are continuing under extremely challenging weather and terrain conditions. While there have been unverified reports circulating on social media suggesting possible signs of movement, no official authority has confirmed his condition or whereabouts. The Alpine Club of Pakistan has identified two of the recovered climbers—Pur Bahadur Gurung ("Yukta") of Nepal and Nadhira Al Harthy of Oman—but Nimsdai has not been officially identified among the recovered. Until authorities release further verified information, his status remains officially listed as missing.
