I am sharing some highlights from the trekking experiences in Nepal and the Karakoram landscapes of the summer of 1983, provided by Mr Richard Epton from Canada, who made this journey. Richard trekked in Nepal during the autumn of 2022, exploring Upper Dolpo through Happy Feet Mountaineers, organized by David Gluns for the Altitude Project. Richard was keen to join the 2024 Altitude Projec Group but couldn't participate due to their plan for a smaller trekking group. When he took this remarkable journey to Annapurna and Karakoram, I was just 15 years old and did not know what trekking was. Today, I am organizing treks in the Himalayas of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, and Ladakh in India!!! Thanks to Richard for sharing this with me.
