Langtang National Park Birds & Mammals Trek 2025
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our recent Birds and Mammals Trek in Langtang National Park. The Park is renowned for offering some of Nepal’s finest bird and mammal trekking experiences, the park features breathtaking Himalayan scenery, rich biodiversity, vibrant local culture, and stunning alpine landscapes. Although the trip was relatively short due to time constraints, our guests thoroughly enjoyed every moment.
Trip Route:
The journey began with a 4x4 drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, followed by a trek through Bamboo, Rimche, Lama Hotel, Riverside, Ghodatabela, Thangshyap, Langtang Village, Mondu Village, and Kyangjin Gompa. The group returned via the same route. Favorable weather and pleasantly quiet trails added to the experience.
Trip Highlights:
The group recorded over 150 bird species, with notable sightings including Yellow-rumped Honeyguide, Ibisbill, Himalayan Monal, Scarlet Finch, Bearded Vulture, Golden Eagle, Pied Thrush, Brown Dipper, and several laughingthrush species (Spotted, Variegated, Black-faced, Scaly, Streaked, Striated), as well as the Immaculate Cupwing.
Mammal sightings included Common Goral, Himalayan Tahr, Barking Deer, Himalayan Serow, and Yellow-throated Marten.
