All our team members are now safely back at Base Camp after a few days of challenging weather conditions above Base Camp.

The mountain has given us a little pause, and safety always comes first. ๐Ÿ™ We are now patiently waiting for a stable and favorable weather window before continuing our summit push.

The team is strong, motivated, and ready. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”๏ธ As soon as the mountain gives us the green light, we will be ready to move again.

Many climbers ask what to expect above Camp IV on Mt. Manaslu. The reality is that the biggest challenge is usually deep snow, not steep technical ice.

During the main climbing season, the route is generally covered with packed snow, while long sections of hard ice are uncommon. However, mountain conditions can change quickly depending on fresh snowfall, wind, and weather.

The final summit ridge often requires breaking through deep snow, demanding strong endurance, careful footwork, and complete focus. Fixed ropes are installed along the route, and every climber should follow their guide's instructions, maintain proper rope spacing, and climb with patience and discipline.

At over 8,000 meters, the greatest challenges are the extreme altitude, freezing temperatures, strong winds, and the physical effort required for the summit push. Success depends on excellent acclimatization, experienced Sherpa support, and choosing the right weather window.
