We are pleased to inform you that the Kodari–Zhangmu border crossing has officially reopened for overland travel to Tibet. This route had been closed since the 2015 Nepal earthquake, but has now been made accessible again by the Chinese authorities.

With this development, travelers can once again enter and exit Tibet via the Zhangmu–Nyalam route, offering a more direct and scenic path for those joining the Mount Kailash Yatra and Tibet Overland Tour.

This is a significant update for pilgrims and overland travelers seeking a shorter and convenient journey from Nepal to Tibet.
