Khandbari is the district headquarters of Sankhuwasabha District in the Kosi Zone of north-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 26,301. A road has already been constructed that connects khandbari directly to dharan.Khandbari is amongst the top ten prosperous town of Nepal. Its border districts are Bhojpur, Solukhumbu, Taplejung,Terhathum and Dhankuta. The change in the political situation in the country has given much hope for the residents of the district for its rapid development. Arun III Hydropower project is one of the major subjects that really matters to the residents. About 3 km north from Khandbari lies another small bazaar known as Manebhanjyang which is really an emerging business centre. Khandbari is main route for trekking to Mount Makalu, 5th highest peak in the world. Surya boarding school is the most prestigious school in whole district or town.Rejina Shakya,Sachin Rai,Ksh*tiz Shrestha etc. are some of the district toppers from surya boarding school in slc examination.Aman Shrestha,Sushil Chandra Lamsal,Kija Lhomi etc. are the bright figures of surya boarding school and Khandbari.Sujan ghale is the most famous Table Tennis player in entire Khandbari.In case of Badminton Aman Shrestha and Anish Shrestha are emerging players and they have even competed in national level. Simiarly, SunShine English Secondary Boarding School is also one of the prestigious School all over Khandbari.Deepak Poudel, Pawan Rasaili, Pramod Bhandari etc. are some of the bright figures of Sun Shine English Seconday Boarding School.

समयमै सचेत बनौँ, सम्भावित विपदबाट भोटखोलालाई जोगाऔँ!

रसुवा जिल्लामा हालै भएको बाढीपहिरोको दुःखद घटनाले हामी सबैलाई गम्भीर बनाएको छ। यस्तो घटनाबाट पाठ सिक्दै संखुवासभा जिल्ला, भोटखोला गाउँपालिका क्षेत्रमा रहेका हिमताल, हिमनदी, नदी–नाला तथा अन्य सम्भावित जोखिमयुक्त क्षेत्रको तत्काल अनुगमन गर्नुपर्ने अवस्था देखिएको छ।
विशेषगरी हिमतालको पानीको अवस्था, सम्भावित हिमपहिरो, प्राकृतिक बाँधको अवस्था तथा नदी–नालामा आउन सक्ने आकस्मिक बाढीको जोखिमबारे सम्बन्धित सरकारी निकाय र प्राविधिक टोलीले तत्काल स्थलगत अनुगमन गरी वास्तविक अवस्था पहिचान गर्नुपर्छ।
🙏 सम्बन्धित सरकार तथा निकायसमक्ष हाम्रो हार्दिक आग्रह छ—
👉 भोटखोलाका हिमताल तथा जोखिमयुक्त क्षेत्रको तत्काल प्राविधिक अनुगमन गरियोस्।
👉 अनुगमनबाट प्राप्त वास्तविक तथ्य जनतामाझ सार्वजनिक गरियोस्।
👉 सम्भावित जोखिमको पूर्वसूचना र आवश्यक सुरक्षा तयारी गरियोस्।
👉 स्थानीय जनता, जनप्रतिनिधि र सुरक्षा निकायबीच प्रभावकारी समन्वय गरियोस्।
हामी डर फैलाउन होइन, समयमै सचेत हुन र सम्भावित विपद् रोकथामका लागि आवाज उठाइरहेका छौँ।
भोटखोलाका जनताको जीवन र सुरक्षा सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण छ।
विपद् आएपछि उद्धार गर्नुभन्दा विपद् आउनुअघि नै जोखिम पहिचान गर्नु बुद्धिमानी हो।
📢 सम्बन्धित निकायले ढिला नगरी भोटखोलाका हिमताल तथा अन्य जोखिमयुक्त क्षेत्रको अनुगमन गरी सत्यतथ्य जनतालाई जानकारी गराओस्।
