Looking for a short trek with breathtaking views? The Mardi Himal Trek is one of the most beautiful and accessible adventures in the Annapurna region. The journey begins with a scenic 1-hour drive from Pokhara to Kande (1,770m) via the tranquil Seti River bank. From there, the trail ascends to Australian Camp (2,060m), a perfect spot for panoramic views of the Annapurna range. The trek continues through peaceful forest trails and charming villages to Pitam Deurali (2,100m), Forest Camp (2,600m), and High Camp (3,580m) by the third day. On the fourth day, begin an early morning hike to Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4,200m) and Base Camp (4,500m), where you’ll witness breathtaking sunrise views over Machhapuchhre and the surrounding Himalayas while sipping a warm cup of tea or coffee. After descending, spend a night at Badal Danda (3,210m), known for its dreamy cloud-covered vistas and 360° mountain views. If you’re trekking in April or May, you’ll be treated to stunning rhododendron blossoms throughout the forest. The final day takes you through Low Camp (2,970m) down to Siddhing (1,850m), where your vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Pokhara. Among the many treks in the Annapurna region, the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is one of the most famous. Depending on your available time, the trek can be completed in 5 to 9 days. The longer, 9-day version includes a detour through P**n Hill (3,210 meters), which is renowned for its breathtaking sunrise views and the majestic sights of Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters), Annapurna South, the sacred Machapuchare (Fishtail), and many more Himalayan peaks.

The first two days of the trek involve a steady uphill climb from around 1,000 meters to 2,874 meters. After enjoying a stunning sunrise at P**n Hill, the journey continues toward Tadapani and beyond.

The trail offers a diverse experience—lush forests, traditional Gurung villages, and vibrant rhododendron blooms in shades of red and pink (especially from late March to early May). The trek also provides a glimpse into the region’s rich culture and natural beauty.

As you approach 4,000 meters, you’ll ascend above the tree line. At this altitude, it’s important to listen to your body—walk slowly, stay hydrated, and be mindful of the effects of high altitude.

The highest point of the trek is Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 meters. Spending the night there is highly recommended to witness both the sunset and sunrise over the stunning Himalayan panorama.

Before concluding the trek, don’t miss the chance to relax in the natural hot springs of Jhinu Danda—a perfect way to soothe your muscles after the journey. Finally, peaceful and serene Pokhara awaits you, offering the perfect place to unwind and reflect on your adventure.

We’re truly grateful to have you back as our valued repeat customer. Our first journey together to Mardi Himal was unforgettable and this trek in the Everest region was just as special.

The 14-day adventure began in Lukla (2,860m) and took us through stunning trails all the way to Everest Base Camp and the serene Gokyo Lakes via the challenging Cho La Pass. We were fortunate to have amazing weather throughout clear skies for breathtaking mountain views, peaceful lakeside moments, and even a touch of snow to complete the experience.

Though it was peak season and the trails were bustling with donkeys and yaks adding to the excitement . it only made the journey more memorable.
